John + Kaitlyn

Dear Bloggers,

Meet John and Kaitlyn.  These two are so much fun. They have been together for 6 years, adorable high -school sweethearts! Kaitlyn is an English teacher and John works in landscaping. They currently live in Virginia. Their fall-themed wedding was in Pennsylvania, where they grew up.

Here are some of our favorite photographs from the day, enjoy!

 The girls got ready at Kaitlyn's parents house where her sweet mom made them breakfast and made sure everyone was taken care of.

These girls were so fun! Most of them have been friends for a while and it was easy to tell that they had a deep bond.

She looked so stunning!!

John wrote Kaitlyn a sweet letter that she read before the ceremony. 

 John's turn to open his gift from Kaiti, she got him a really awesome watch

Wait a beautiful moment! Kaitlyn was glowing...and so was John :) 

This part of weddings always make me tear up; when the father gives his daughter away.

Roger and I stole the bride and groom away for 10 minutes to get some shots of them. There was no time to get their photo's done before the sun went down so we had to make due with setting up a small studio outside...in the dark. I must say, I really like how they came out!

Then it was back inside for the garter toss and the bouquet throw

I think every single one of the guests got into the dancing...it was so much fun!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Kaitlyn: Walking down to John and then walking out with my husband!

John: Watching Kaitlyn walk down the aisle.

What was your favorite detail?

Kaiti: The Flowers.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

The day flys by so soak up every minute.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Kaiti: When John threw the garter belt over his head like a bride throwing the bouqet.

John: My little cousins tearing up the dance floor.

If you could do it all over would you change anything?

No everything went smoother and looked more beatiful than we even imagined.

Darrick and Jennifer

Hello Bloggers,

Meet Darrick and Jennifer.

Darrick is a newspaper journalist and Jennifer is a special needs teacher. I wish you all had a chance to meet these two because they are such amazing people! Roger and I did not even feel like we were on a photo shoot because we had so much fun laughing and hanging out the whole time. Oh and I got a few cuts and bruises along the way...you'll see :)

It was so hard to narrow down our favorites so please excuse the long blog post and enjoy!

And this is why I love working with Roger (besides for the fact that he is my fiance)...he just gets all of these crazy shots that I would never think of!

Jen and Darrick are huge Wake Forest fans so naturally we had to get some pics of them sporting their favorite paraphernalia.

I am loving these canoe shots. Just another reason why Roger is the best photography partner ever! (can you image me trying to lift the canoe off of the roof of my subaru? lol) We are so fortunate to have clients who go along with our crazy ideas too!

HAHA this might be the funniest picture on here!

My battle scars! To make a long story short, I really wanted to get a shot from this one rock (the previous picture) but in order to get there I had to climb (errr...fall) down this steep incline. Normally Roger would carry me down something dangerous like that but he was out in the canoe and I got impatient. whoops...

We love you Jennifer and Darrick! We cannot wait to shoot your wedding on November 20, 2010! You guys are the best (and thank you for putting up with all of our craziness!) :)
